Neale Donald Walsch is a modern day spiritual messenger whose words continue to touch the world in profound ways. With an early interest in religion and a deeply felt connection to spirituality, Neale spent the majority of his life thriving professionally, yet searching for spiritual meaning before experiencing his now famous conversation with God. The Conversations with God series of books that emerged from those encounters has been translated into 37 languages, touching millions and inspiring important changes in their day-to-day lives. Neale has written 29 books on spirituality and its practical application in everyday life.

“Believe nothing I say. Simply live it. Experience it.

My dear, dear companions on this journey…

I would like to make a closing statement about the whole Conversations with God encounter that has touched my life and, amazingly, the lives of millions of others around the world. But by “closing statement” I do not mean a “final” statement. I’m sure I will have many more things to say about CWG before I leave this planet!

By “closing statement” I mean that I want to bring a close to any speculation about how I feel about, how I personally hold, the

Conversations with God experience --- and how I wish and hope that anyone who is, or becomes, aware of it will feel also.

I want to put to rest any thought, idea, notion, or claim that may lead to a misunderstanding that any person or group may have about me, and about the body of work that has filled 39 books and consumed the last 27 years of my life.

I am aware, of course, that some people and groups have called me a blasphemer, a heretic, and, in the extreme, an instrument of the devil. I understand how they could have come to that, for many of the ideas I have placed into the world directly confront and specifically contradict their most sacred beliefs.

Because of this, I am very okay with them describing me in this way. I am okay with it because I admire and encourage the active and energetic defense of one’s own most sacred beliefs, so long as that defense does not involve or include the inflicting of emotional or physical violence.

For in my heart’s deepest experience and my mind’s highest understanding, sacred beliefs lose the quality that

rendered them “sacred” if they are expressed or demonstrated in a way that damages another.

But so long as we create and maintain the space within which you can share and practice your beliefs, and I can share and practice mine...and we can do so while loving each other purely, and admiring each other genuinely, for having the courage and the gumption and the willingness to do so without rage-filled hostility, without brutality, and surely without bloodshed...then we will have both venerated our beliefs and honored each other.

To my mind, none of this means that we should never, ever doubt what we hold to be true. Especially what we hold to be true about God.

A national television interviewer once asked me on a major network news show: “Do you ever doubt that the experience you’ve had is what you say it is? Do you ever doubt the accuracy of the information you feel you’ve been given?”

My response was immediate, simple, and straightforward.

“You know, the day I stop doubting is the day I become dangerous, and I have no intention of becoming dangerous.”

So I want to tell

you to doubt as well. (I’m sure I don’t have to encourage this.) I want you to be clear that one of the most important messages of the Conversations with God dialogues is not to believe them.

Indeed, in the very first book of the nine texts we hear this in the voice of God:

The Miracle of Physicality

The Miracle of Physicality - Neale Donald Walsch

Today I’d like to take a look at “the miracle of physicality.” If we really are “all one” (and we are), what IS this One Thing that becomes physical?

The other day I was doing some re-reading in one of the powerful books in the Conversations with God oeuvre, titled “When Everything Changes, Change Everything,” and I happened upon a passage that neatly explained this question. It said that more and more we are coming to understand that we are something other than the body, other than the mind, and yes, even other than the soul. We are all three combined, and “the Whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

What is the Self?

20220113-151654Neale1.17

“Mastery” is defined as “the fullest expression of the fullness of my being.” That is, the total expression of the totality of my Self. Yet in order for me to know and to recognize that I have had such an experience, I would have to know (and be able to explain to my Mind) what my “Self” is.

What is the Self that I am seeking to express in fullness? Let’s look at that now.

The thoughts that follow are not my own, but rather, the understandings that I was given in my Conversations with God. It is not necessary for anyone to believe that I have actually had conversations with God for us to discuss this.

An Exploration of The Ten Illusions of Humans

NeilDW12.17

Everything can truly be on earth as it is in heaven, when the time of separation is over and the time of unification is at hand. Unification with God, unification with all others, and with every living thing. This is what God has come to tell us once more through the messengers of today. You will know them as God’s messengers because they will all be bringing the same message: We Are All One. This is the only message that matters. The fact that you have so far failed to receive it (you have heard it often, but you have failed to receive it) is what has caused every misery, every sorrow, every conflict, every heartache in your experience. It has caused every murder, every war, every rape and robbery, every assault and attack, mental, verbal, and physical. It has caused every illness and dis-ease, and every encounter with what you call death. The idea that we are not One is an illusion.

The human race has been living with illusions for a long time. This is not because the human race is stupid, but because the human race is very smart. Humans have understood intuitively that illusions have a purpose, and a very important one. Most humans have simply forgotten that they know this. And they have forgotten that their forgetting is itself part of what they have forgotten – and therefore part of the illusion. Now it is time for humans to remember.

THE STORM BEFORE THE CALM: Can We Talk?

nealdw10.18.21

My dear, dear friends…my wonderful companions on this human journey…

I’m so glad that you’re here, and I hope that your answer to the question just above is yes, because it’s very important that you hear this: We’re experiencing something quite extraordinary on the earth right now. I’m going to give it a name here.

We are experiencing The Overhaul of Humanity.

This is not an exaggeration. This is reality. It is observable at every turn.

Yet here is something that is not so observable: Things are not as they seem.

And I think, before the world and its people get too far along this road, we all need to be aware of that.

We also need to be aware that there’s nothing to be afraid of in our future if we will all but play our role in creating it. And that role—the role we are being invited to play by Life Itself—is going to be very easy to play.

I have more that I want to share with you around all this. Let me give you a summary of everything I have come here to say:

The Big Shift You Still Need to Make for Life to Flow

The Big Shift You Still Need to Make for Life to Flow

So many of us have dived really deep to discover our connection to God, to examine our self-defeating patterns and to anchor into a co-creative partnership with life. And, it’s worked! There have been ahas, some real and tangible shifts and openings have taken place—heck, your life might look very different than it did when you first embarked upon this journey of self-realization.

And yet. (I’m sensing the heads nodding already.) Despite all the work you’ve done, all you’ve learned, you still struggle. You struggle with your finances. In relationships. To make impact.

Maybe you didn’t expect rainbows and kittens and sunshine every moment, but, c’mon, really? To still have to be dealing with [fill in the blank] (debt, insecurity, a soul-deadening job, one more failed relationship)?

Oh, I’ve been there, brother (or sister). And here’s what God told me: It’s not about you.

Why Nothing That Happens is Truly Bad

backlight-view-through-apple-tree-summer-meadow-in-bavaria-germany-picture-id182027571 Why Nothing That Happens is Truly Bad

You must know that as a soul, as a sacred being, as a Divine entity, you are placing yourself in certain circumstances, situations, and conditions in every given moment of your life for a particular purpose and reason.

It’s also important to understand that pain (both physical and emotional) can, in fact, be bidden. It actually can be wanted. It’s hard to believe, I know, but it is, in fact, true that it can be welcomed for any one of a number of reasons.

Yet if the Mind thinks that a particular pain is “unwanted,” it will not abide it. It will violently or strenuously fight against it, and that’s precisely what creates the experience of struggle and suffering in one’s life.

Underneath this truth lies a deeper one: Nothing that ever happens is “bad” for you.  If it were bad for you, it wouldn’t be happening. Life is incapable of producing an event or condition that does not carry you to the next place in your evolution or that is not designed for your next expression of Divinity. Since the expression of Divinity is the reason you are here, you can be sure that everything is placed before you to serve this Divine purpose; in other words, to serve your purpose because your purpose is the Divine purpose.
