Today, let’s talk about the Law of Attraction. It’s been sitting in my mind and in my heart because so many people struggle with the Law of Attraction. They want to manifest all these things in their life, and yet they have this fear that if I say something, if I think something for too long, then I’m going to create that thing in my life. For example, if I worry about or I say out loud something like “I’m feeling not well” or “I’m not feeling great” – then I don’t want to say it out loud. I don’t want to talk about it. And I don’t want to put energy towards it.

I get that idea of not wanting to put energy towards things. I totally get it. I don’t want you to put energy towards it either. But when you have a thought or a feeling or you are taking an action and you are in a place where you are not you and it is a low vibration, you are creating resistance towards the fear in the first place. So, you just make it bigger. So, when we think about Law of Attraction, we think about the things that we are bringing to our lives. We’re focusing on either they’re kind of rooted in love, or they’re rooted in fear, right? If they’re rooted in fear and you have a thought like, “oh, I’m never going to be able to do blah, blah, blah.” Right? “Never going to make it to whatever it is you think you need to make it to.” So, I’m never going to make it to blah, blah, blah … and you have that thought, but you say, “Oh my God, I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to tell people. I don’t want to feel it.” – most of the time it is I don’t want to feel it, right? So, then what we do is we just keep pushing it down. We just keep pushing it down. We just keep pushing it down. And when you push that down, it gets bigger. The resistance of it makes it bigger. It makes it stronger. So, you’ve got to remember that those negative thoughts, those fear-based thoughts … they’re just thoughts. But when you try to hide them, when you try to push them down, when you try to ignore them or deny them, they are going to get bigger just because of the energy resistance.

Are You Keeping Yourself Small?

Today, let’s talk about keeping yourself small, staying hidden, not attracting a lot of attention, not standing out … being your whole self and showing everybody who you are.

So, first question is: do you tend to keep yourself small?

Now, the reason I thought about this topic is I had a conversation with a mentoring client recently … She said, when I was young, you were taught to not dream big, to not talk about it … don’t make a big deal about yourself, or about what you’re going to do.

And I’ve just kept thinking since then: How many of us were taught or trained into being smaller than we are, or being smaller than we feel like? How many of you have dreams that you don’t share with people because you don’t want to make them uncomfortable?.

Think about it for a minute: How many of you have struggled with keeping yourself small because you don’t want to make other people uncomfortable or because that was your training? And if you are doing that … then how do you think it sabotages your goals, your dreams, your desires, your visions, your wants for your life.

In 2018, I took a beautiful group of souls to Thailand for a trip of a lifetime. Twenty-seven of us spent two weeks in this amazing country – on the beach (Phuket), in the city (Bangkok), and in the mountains (Chang Mai). The trip truly was one of the best experiences of my life and I’ve heard from several of our group that it was theirs as well.

While there, we learned that depending on the day you were born, you had a particular buddha pose that was just for you. (Well, you and the millions born on that day ? My mom had told me that I was born on a Wednesday, but when I tuned into the Wednesday buddha, it didn’t feel right. Once I Googled it, I discovered I was born on a Tuesday. My buddha is the “Realizing Nirvana” – Pang Sai Yat – otherwise known as the lying buddha. We all had such a great time connecting with our buddhas that I thought I’d share with you the summary list below.

Maintaining Energy

Throughout the years, I personally have learned how important it is to be loving to myself by maintaining my own energy so as not to absorb the energy around me. I’m talking about the energy of the living, as well as the deceased. As sensitive beings we have a tendency to absorb the energies around us, and we take on the negative energy unknowingly when we are experiencing fear in some way. If we choose to, maintaining and protecting your own energy and vibration is very important. Many people live in a world where they absorb the negative thoughts and feelings of both living and deceased ener­gies. At times, this energy can feel overwhelming and scary; therefore, people start to live in fear of the Spirit world.

I tend to use words “protect” and “maintain” interchangeably. The word protection is per­ceived as the safeguarding of somebody or something – the act of preventing somebody or something from being harmed or damaged; or the state of being kept safe. However, when I use the word protection, I mean it in a sense of maintaining your own energy, being mindful of your energy and how you absorb or take on the energy of others around you. Protection means to witness rather than absorb. Be an observer of energy, of Spirit … not an absorber of it.

The bee is also INDUSTRIOUS, a hard worker whose efforts pay off in the beauty of flowers blooming and the deliciousness of honey. She reminds us that we too can create beautiful flowers in our own gardens by being present in our daily lives and giving back to the world in a way that supports the highest good of all. A sense of BELONGING is also offered as a reminder of being a productive and dedicated member of our own hives, our communities that we live and work in.

When we think of the symbol of PEACE, many of us are transported back to the 60-70’s, the era of hippies, flower power, and free love. We feel a sense of freedom, fun, and unlimited possibilities.

Peace is a gentle reminder of the TRANQUILITY that we can slip into any time we need to refresh and renew. It reminds us of the importance of SILENCE and going within to connect with our higher self. It reminds us that TRUCE is always possible when we see experiences from all perspectives. By tuning into peace daily, we discover that GOODWILL is always an option to share at any time, in any experience.

So, get your bell-bottoms on, adorn your hair in flowers, listen to John Lennon, and let’s “Give Peace a Chance!”

The Value of Embracing Your Intuition

My first question is, Are you intuitive? I also want to know, Are you psychic? What do you believe the difference is? I would like to dive into that and give you some tips to understand the difference.

What do you believe the difference is between being intuitive and being psychic?

How do you get your messages from the spirit world, from your angels, your guides, your loved ones in spirit?

Do you feel them? Do they just kind of pop into your head and you just kind of know? Are they visual … do they come through your dreams or through images or signs that you see? Or are they auditory and you just hear the messages?

So, do you see them? Do you hear them? Do you feel them, or do you know them?

I’m going to give you the definition of the word Psychic: A person considered or claiming to have psychic powers; a medium; relating to, or denoting faculties of phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by nature’s laws, especially involving telepathy or clairvoyance.

Now, Intuitive: Using or based on what one feels to be true, even without conscious reasoning; instinctive.

Here is what I’ve come to know: They’re not different. Your intuition and the word intuitive and the word psychic and the way they express are the same.

50 Things I’ve Learned in My 50 Years of Life

Life passes by slow and fast. We have both good and bad times. Happy and sad experiences. We walk through life and experience joy and loss, as well as happiness and death. There is contrast through it all. As I arrive at my 50th time around the sun, I took the time to sit with SOME of what I have learned. These are in no particular order and are certainly not all I have learned. I am sure I have forgotten some BIGGIES, but it’s a good start; and more importantly, on my birthday day, it is a good reminder to me of this amazing life I have been blessed to experience and all that I have journeyed through … on both sides of the contrast.

Archangel Zadkiel

Let’s talk about Archangel Zadkiel today. He’s not one of the most common archangels. He’s one that a lot of people are unaware of, which is why he came into my space today. So, my intuition tells me that means, for all of us, we’ve got a little forgiveness work to do!

Archangel Zadkiel is the angel of forgiveness. He also helps us with mercy and benevolence.

Benevolence is kindness.

Forgiveness … that can be many types … of course, we’ve got forgiveness of others; forgiveness of our past; forgiveness of decisions; forgiveness of other people and what they’ve done or not done.

Then we’ve got forgiveness of ourselves; forgiveness of our choices; forgiveness of maybe sometimes just our way of seeing things.

So Zadkiel can help you with that. You can invite Archangel Zadkiel’s energy in to support you in forgiveness. Now, the way that I look at forgiveness is forgiveness to me is giving the energy back – not from a place of anger – but if you’re carrying energy from an old circumstance or situation –  blame, hatred, negative energy with someone, whatever – giving that energy back, releasing the energy and not holding it any longer. Giving it back to the universe, giving it back to the person – so that they can transmute it themselves.

I think that is a much better way to move through life than it is to carry energy from life experiences, choices, circumstances that have happened in your life and have you continue to just stew on it or use it as an excuse for not moving forward in your life.

The Body

Today, Spirit guided me to talk about the body. The body. I know, you all have one, right? You all have a body, so that’s a good sign. And what I want to talk about is, what story you’re attached to. Do you have a story that you tell about your body?

It could be anything. Back in the day, my story was I’m overweight. I’m never going to be thin. I always am sick. Nobody’s ever gonna love me in this body. I used to talk how big my legs were or how much of a struggle it was to lose weight or just in general, just how fat I was.

So my story was that I couldn’t lose weight. My story was that I wasn’t healthy. I wasn’t strong. I wasn’t attractive. That was my story.

Now, your story could be, I always get sick. Your story could be, I struggle with disease. Your story could be my body never does what I want it to do. It’s not strong enough. I’m too fat, too skinny, too tall, too small, too whatever it is.

Mercury Retrograde! What is that?

By now, you have probably heard someone say … “Oh, It’s Mercury retrograde”. When Mercury Retrograde is about to begin many people begin to “feel” the energy shifts – possibly without even knowing it –  as it moves in. Now, I’m not an expert in Mercury Retrograde … nor am I an astrologer. I’m a psychic medium and someone who is sensitive to energy … just like you. I notice when the energy shifts … especially the strong shifts. When I feel things are off a bit, I tune into the energy (and look at the calendar), and I usually discover that Mercury is retrograde … then I take a breath, look up how long it will be in retrograde … and then plan to move forward at a slower pace – knowing that it always has something to teach me. Not that I always love this … but I can either hit my head against the wall, pushing and forcing OR go with the flow of Mercury in retrograde … and embrace its teachings. Which do you choose?

Feeling Heartbroken or Disappointed?

A lot has happened here in the United States and I want to do my best to help support you in the place that you are in … knowing that everyone is in a different place … that everyone feels a little bit differently because of a different perspective, different experiences, a different frame of reference … and that’s how it’s meant to be.

Let’s talk today about the pain, the sadness, the fear, the anger, the overwhelm, the frustration, the nervousness so many people are feeling and being activated by what they’re witnessing.

You may be one of those people that are feeling disappointed in the human race … or disappointed in who we are, disappointed in the way that people are showing up, or feel heartbroken or have a heavy heart.  I want to take a moment first off to tell you that whatever it is you’re feeling … wherever the things that you are witnessing and experiencing are taking you … you have a right to those feelings.

Self-Confidence

Today we are going to talk about confidence: Self-confidence … being comfortable in the skin you’re in … learning how to feel secure in who you actually are.

I would like to start by just asking you: Does confidence hold you back in some area in your life? Do you feel that if you were more confident you would do A, B, C, D, E ________ (fill in the blank)?

What does it hold you back from? And what is confidence? What does having confidence mean? What does “being comfortable in the skin you’re in” mean to you?

Is it a way that you feel? Is it a way that you look? Is it an experience that you would have, or wouldn’t have? What does that actually look like in your life experience right now? 

I really like this quote by ee cummings: “Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.”

I love that! Once we believe in ourselves … I think a lot of times what does hold us back is the lack of self-confidence and overcoming the fear.

And what is the fear … and how do you overcome the fear? Well, fear oftentimes is “I’m not good enough. I’m not worthy. I can’t do it.  I’m not ever going to be able to do it.” And so, the key answer to the question is you’ve got to work on your self-confidence. You’ve got to work on your self-esteem. You’ve got to work on your value. You have to begin to put more attention towards what’s good and what’s working in your life, than what you’re afraid of, what you don’t know, what might not be good enough, or where your struggles have been.

So, I want to share a few ways that you can start to gain self-confidence. Each one of these could be a whole topic in and of itself. But I want to list a few here now and have you begin to see which ones jump out to you … and those could be the inspiration to make a little shift for yourself going forward … and allow you to gain some momentum to live more fully in what you want in this upcoming year.

I don’t believe confidence is about the external: the way you look, or your comparison to other people. I DO think confidence is much more about the story we tell ourselves. It’s so much more about our internal dialogue … and we use the external clues, people, experiences, events to prove to ourselves externally what we’re telling ourselves internally … which is usually “I’m not good enough. I’m not going to add up. It’s never going to work. I can’t get there.”

Spirit has been talking to me about reminding people about their joy. So … let’s talk about JOY.

First off, in whatever time frame you are reading this … Have you at this point today, laughed yet? Laughed. Have you laughed yet today? Have you done something today that has gotten you excited, made you kind of giddy, have a big smile on your face, and feel joyful from the inside out?

How many of you know, feel, recognize, understand that you need more of that? You need more laughter. You need more joy. You need more play. You need more fun … that you desire happiness, light-heartedness, connectedness.

Do you recognize that? Even if you’ve had it, do you invite more joy, more play, more fun into your life?

It is the highest expression of love there is.

I want you to think about the ways we were taught to express love and the way that you experienced joy as a child. You might not have been allowed to have joy. A lot of people didn’t.

I Am a Lighthouse

As we are less than a week away from celebrating Thanksgiving Day in the US …. I am reminded to find  the moments of appreciation all around us, big and little. Join me in reaching for the feeling of gratitude my friend. We can do this!

We’re shining our lights. We’re being lighthouses for the highest, greatest, good. That’s been my prayer the entire time we have walked this journey we are all in collectively. It is still my prayer today … nothing has changed: the highest, greatest, good for all.

Can we get there together? That is the goal. That’s what so many people want, regardless of where you stand in the midst of all the current changes. We don’t go back. We move forward … and you have to choose and decide where you’re going to put your attention and your energy.

And if you are truly going to be a peacemaker, if you are truly focused on peace in this world, then you have to have it inside of you.

You cannot have regret. You cannot have anger. You cannot have judgment. You cannot have condemnation. You cannot have ignorance towards others. You cannot have comparison.

That doesn’t live with peace.
