It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

Reversal Of Aging Is Here. How Far Can It Go?

deepak11.15a By Deepak Chopra, MD and Shai Efrati, MD

The ability to reverse aging is now in everyone’s hands, although they might not realize it. Aging is reversed anytime you experience the following:

Healing from an illness or wound. Healing restores the body to a state before the setback occurred.

Returning to the markers of youth: Youth is marked by energy, vitality, freedom of motion, normal blood pressure, physical strength, and other markers that can be restored at any time of life. Going to the gym, meditating to reduce your blood pressure, keeping up your support system of family and friends, and undertaking creative projects that bring you joy are just a few ways to reverse the tendencies of aging.

Having a positive mindset. We act out our beliefs, and when people believed that life after 65 should be spent in a rocking chair out of sight from younger people, that mindset made old age a penance. For several decades, however, the “new old age” has revolutionized our mindset, and people see old age as vigorous, creative, productive, and a source of contentment.

Psychological Immunity: An Essential Part Of Wellness Today

yoga By Deepak Chopra™ MD and Dr. David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri)

We all know the importance of physical immunity, the body’s ability to resist disease and ward off invaders. But what is psychological immunity? It is the ability of the mind to resist disease, ward off emotional toxins, and endure the pendulum swing of gain and loss, joy and sorrow, attraction and repulsion. If your psychological immunity is strong, you also have mental stamina, which is associated with steady concentration and having no memory loss with age.

Medicine has been slow to recognize that non-physical immunity exists.  The focus has been on the physical pathogens like bacteria and viruses that abound in the external world. But over a century ago Freud wrote about the “psychopathology of everyday life,” from which everyone needs protecting. Mental pathogens are invisible but potent, beginning with the universal experience of negative emotions like fear, anger, hatred, greed, and jealousy.

Infuse the world with your love.

infuse Infuse the world with your love.

The more we are here everyday, the more I know how divinely orchestrated all of this really is. I may sound like a broken record because I am continually reinforcing certain messages that have not been heard or have not been allowed to land.

I love you. I don’t just love the parts of you that you put on display. I love the parts that you have an aversion to or that you resist. My loving you, at some point, has to translate into your ability to cultivate an inclusive relationship with yourself.

You have been falsely led to believe that there are certain aspects of you that are wrong or bad. And, as a result, you have invalidated yourself from receiving. When I wrote the book You Are Enough, I didn’t write it purely as a self-help book, I wrote it as a way for humanity to get itself out of every impending challenging scenario and situation that I knew we were about to face.

One of My Most Emotional Cases

moviemind One of My Most Emotional Cases

Today, I want to talk to you about place memory. It’s the ability to pick up vibrations and detailed information, whether it’s seen, felt or heard, of a past event. The more traumatic the event—the stronger the impression.

The easiest way to describe it, it's is as if someone took a snapshot in time, and etched it in the atmosphere of the actual environment or the fabric of the building where the event took place.

Fortunately, most people don’t have such finely tuned psychic antennae to be able to tap into such memories. Otherwise, we’d all be walking around looking shocked and miserable every time we go near a disaster site. On a lesser scale, many people may walk into a room and feel an argument that just took place, or pick up on the atmosphere in a room that doesn’t feel right. We’ve all experienced this sometime in our lives.

In my case, I have the ability to go way beyond this feeling. My ability can literally be stretched over the canvas of time. It really doesn’t matter if it was yesterday, last week, or even hundreds of years ago. Scenes play out in my mind as I slip back in time, and often the clarity and detail is like an old movie that’s been digitally restored. I feel as if I’m actually there.
