Children Are In Charge

It may not
Look like it

But the children
are in charge

Their world
is not
collapsing

This is
The only world
They know

They are bringing
The infinite of their being
Now
Their love is mature
Fully grown

It is only the adults
Scrambling in panic
Who are afraid
of losing their imaginary identity
Afraid
someone will
kick their castle of sand
while they forget
it is only sand
and they have plenty of sand
it is only their imagination
that made it a castle

Let the children lead.
They know where they are going
Because they are already there
