Opening to the Experience of Causeless Bliss

Opening to the Experience of Causeless Bliss - Dr. Margaret Paul

How often do you feel filled with inner peace, joy, and love – apparently for no reason? There is a reason, but it's not about anything external that's happening. For me, I have this wonderful experience when I am very connected with spirit and in deep surrender to my guidance. This wonderful, blissful energy of love, inner peace, and joy fills my being to overflowing. At these times, I can't stop smiling. Love pours out unendingly, and everything makes me giggle. Things that are not particularly funny to others strike me as hysterical and I laugh until my stomach aches. It is the very best feeling in the world! Sometimes I’m laughing and I have no idea what I am laughing at! I feel so blissful, joyful, and peaceful at these times!

This is causeless love, causeless joy, causeless inner peace – causeless bliss.

Half Full, Half Empty, or…?

Half Full, Half Empty, or…?

Most of us are familiar with the saying “Is the glass half full or half empty?”, which points out how perspective affects our experience of life. In other words, do you count your blessings or tally up your grievances? Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Do you feel life is a gift or a burden, joy or tragedy? On any given day, you may feel one of these extremes and then extrapolate to a world view that sets you up for future experiences. You may keep an inner tally sheet of the “good” and “bad.” It seems to be a human tendency to divide up life events in this way. Yet life is made up of many emotions, many experiences. None of them permanent. What if the greater wisdom is to be inclusive of it all?

Life Is Simply Meant To Be Experienced

Life Is Simply Meant To Be Experienced - Panache Desai

What I like about my life is that I get to utilize my time in the most productive way. Once you figure out the purpose of an instrument or a tool that you own, it makes it way more efficient to use that tool; to optimize the use of it.

Life is simply meant to be experienced. The end.

If life is just an experience we are having, then we, as human beings, are a part of that experience. The question is who is having it? What is it that is in me, observing through my eyes, that is experiencing through my being and is here on this journey of experiencing? Not learning lessons or solving riddles, but what is it that is in me that is hearing, feeling, seeing? What part of me came back here to have this fully immersive experience?

How Personal Reality Is Created

How Personal Reality Is Created - Deepak Chopra MD

Although we don’t often think about it, each of us inhabits two realities. One is the physical world, the other is our personal reality. Once you state this apparently simple fact, mysteries immediately arise. If two cameras photograph a tree, star, the sky or a cloud, the photos will be exact duplicates (assuming that the two cameras are set identically), but if two people gaze at a tree, a trained botanist will see something very different from somebody lost n the woods. If you are distracted, you might not notice the tree at all, since looking is a voluntary act, not an automatic one.

Imagine What’s Possible For You

Imagine What’s Possible For You - Panache Desai

My reality, the entirety of my reality, has been enlisted to provide me with the evidence of my wholeness. Every single person in my life has now been enlisted with bringing me the experience of my wholeness.

Life is showing you who you are. But most of us who have been coming to Call to Calm every morning have seen who we are. Life doesn’t have to show us our unconscious anymore because we don’t have a problem being a human being. No matter how we are showing up, we don’t invalidate ourselves anymore. We are having an experience. The sooner we accept it, and embrace it, the faster we return to peace and operate from completion. This is being in the flow, in harmony and in receiving. This is where it becomes powerful. This is why it’s magic time!

How to Manifest Your Best Life with The Energy of 2022

pollyw12.26

One of my favorite times of the year is headed our way and impossible to miss. We are about to experience a pause that highlights a line drawn in the cosmic landscape of time. It is the ending of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. Keep reading and discover how you can manifest your best life with the powerful energy of the collective spiritual evolution found in 2022.

Key Components of 2022 Energy

The simplest way to understand the overarching energy of 2022, is to imagine a sacred vessel holding the catalyst for karmic healing, self-love and personal empowerment.

2022 is designed in a way that makes it almost impossible to move laterally in life. The upward expansion is limitless, the lateral moves are restricted. It is also difficult to travel in a downward spiral, in other words don’t worry about losing ground in your spiritual evolution.

Creating Form for an Experience

pd12.24

Playdough. You know, that putty-like stuff you turn into things? . . . well, that’s YOU! The playdough is light and what you’ve created is . . .oh, just everything in reality!

Everything is light made into form to deliver you an experience. For example, you may have an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend that in their essential selves are light that you turned into a form to deliver you the experience of what love isn’t. Some of you took light and turned it into the form of a present partner who is delivering the experience of what love is. Ultimately, you are at the source of the experience.

Sacred Warrior: LIFE’S ASSIGNMENT—HAPPINESS

templeH8.1.jpg
French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin believed we are not human beings having a spiritual experience.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

I would like to add the more spiritual you become in your awareness, the more you are connected to your humanity. You embrace at a deep level the value of ‘all of you.’ The thoughts, the feelings, the joy, and the depth. You become totally comfortable with your-self. It is essential as a Difference Maker to be comfortable with yourself.

Life is an ongoing destination of learning, yet there is an arrival place — it’s called happiness. With happiness you draw from the core of your being, which is produced and renewed from ‘something’ much greater than who you are. Even though your life may take many twists and turns, the inner happiness you experience is always a non-negotiable.

Optimizing Our Experience

pdblog7.29

Everything is moving us to optimize our experience in being a human being.

Optimizing our experience means you have to get in touch with what you need to figure out inside of you, getting in touch with what resonates with you and with what no longer resonates with you. For example, you don’t have to accept every invitation and go to everything everybody else is doing when you already know it’s not going to be in harmony with you, and you know it’s not aligned with who you really are. You know on a soul level that you are wasting time. For every moment, come into the acceptance of the moment. Our ancestors knew full well how to navigate our reality.

We’ve complicated self-care and it doesn’t have to be complicated. You basically need to sweat, you need to hydrate, and you need to move to whatever degree you can. You need to provide yourself the fuel and support yourself in strengthening your foundation. There’s freedom in this.

Why Perfectionism Kills Creativity?!

Perfectionism

To experience true creativity is to be lost in a flow state. It can feel as if a stream of ideas and messages moves through us – we just have to get out of the way and allow this magical process to happen.

Creativity by nature has a very fluid structure, which is why perfectionism can be the ultimate killer of creativity. Perfectionism is focused only on the end game. It has a strict idea of what we plan to create and it doesn’t allow space for something unique and surprising to emerge.

If the thing you create is not exact, if it goes outside the lines, then you deny it. Inherent in the word perfectionism is a denial of the perfection of everything as it is. It denies the opportunity for something to create its own form.

Getting to the root of your perfectionism

If you’re starting to explore how to overcome perfectionism, you have to start by getting to the root. What’s causing this tendency and desire in the first place?

Typically, perfectionism is rooted in our strident need for certainty. In the desired end result of approval. Often, this desire for approval from others comes from a deep wound.

If this pressure to be approved of by another person is deeply ingrained in us, it can start to feel as though we personally will not be whole if we don’t get the approval from someone outside of ourselves. So, we learn to deny approval from ourselves to ourselves unless we reach some perfection that seems to be always out of reach.

Six Things You Can Learn From Guilt

guiltShame

Many people think that guilt is a natural experience. It is a familiar experience, but it is not healthy or productive. It serves no constructive purpose. How can that be? Here are six things to think about the next time you are feeling guilty:

  • Guilt comes from fear. Your spiritual growth requires challenging fear and cultivating love. Holding onto your thoughts and feeling of guilt will not support you or anyone else. They prevent you from living in love, creating in love, and enjoying yourself in love.
  • Guilt impairs your ability to learn from your experiences. When you see something that you could have done differently, or wish you had done differently, remember how you could have spoken or acted in love instead of fear so that you can apply what you have learned next time (not to make yourself feel more guilty). Your experiences are designed to inform, support, and benefit you, not cause you to contract into fear and remorse.
  • Guilt is an experience of a frightened part of your personality, just as the actions that you regret came from a frightened part of your personality. Following fear with fear moves you in the opposite direction that your spiritual development requires, which is toward love.

How To Shift Your Karma and Get Into Flow

intotheflow

We all go through difficult times, when things don’t seem to work out.

It’s easy to lose hope and feel like you are facing bad karma or luck during these moments.

Your karma is the result of the sum total of your actions. For every cause there is an effect.

If you are going through tough times right now, remember that it is only a season, and no season lasts forever. Even your most difficult time will pass.

Trust.

Your challenges are gifts in disguise sent by the universe to strengthen your character. Your dreams chose you for a reason. And your dream will take you on a journey of having to become the person who is capable of fulfilling the vision.

It’s often when things are challenging that we grow the most. So trust that you wouldn’t be going through the difficult situation if you weren’t ready or capable of handling it.

In these times you can either feel like a victim or you can take the first step and take full responsibility for your situation.

Rather than asking “Why ME?”

Ask “WHY am I going through this experience and WHAT is my soul seeking to learn?”

Recognize that you are not a victim.

Your current situation is simply the product of the total combined actions, thoughts, feelings and intentions of your past. Everything you have lived up until now has contributed to where you are. So it’s no accident.

Is the Movie of Your Life a Blockbuster Hit?

movietake

This approach to life…it might not be a regular conversation at your family dinner table…

The view I’m referring to is, what you experience is what you want to experience, because you live inside of a movie You create.

You are a Creator. You write and produce your movie, the one that you call life. You cast yourself in the starring role. You agreed to the supporting cast in your movie, too.

You’re here, in this movie, waking yourself up to a version of you that you did not know existed. Perhaps a version of You you did not know was possible.

We project the movie we’ve written onto a movie screen. Instead of sitting down to watch the movie from our theater seat, we forget it’s a movie and get caught up in the story.

We, in our “splatted” state, step into the movie and think it’s real life. We think our experiences are happening to us. We forget that things are happening for us. We think other people are doing things that are hard for us to deal with.

What Happened To Emotional Intelligence?

Woman_emotional When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

For many younger people, the COVID virus outbreak will bring their first experience of fear and anxiety as a pervasive mood. Anxiety is difficult for everyone, but in the larger scheme, we need to ask: What happened to emotional intelligence? The phrase became popular for a while, but that was almost a generation ago. Right now, emotional intelligence seems to be forgotten, or to put it another way, it is unknown to most people.

Social forces can drive you to feeling anxious; politics stokes anger; personal threats to your well-being can lead to worry and depression. But none of these forces has a positive effect in giving you tools to ward off anxiety, anger, and depression.  Raising your emotional IQ is something each person must confront on their own. Let’s focus on anxiety, which the current crisis has stoked more than any other negative emotion (although anger over politics runs a close second).

I believe that freeing yourself from fear and anxiety is possible. More than that, you can learn how to be free of fear long after the COVID crisis has passed.

The Coronavirus and Karma

safety-greeting-picture-id1212916818 The Coronavirus and Karma

The coronavirus is showing us the profound impacts of our choices. It is demolishing the fantasy that we are powerless and replacing it with a new experience of responsibility –responsibility for the well-being of others. It is here that the coronavirus reveals itself to be an exquisite creation of wisdom and compassion that is far beyond the capability of students in the Earth school, but not beyond their ability to understand.

The well-being of others requires our well-being. This is not a lofty, altruistic principle. The choice to disregard our health and well-being is one and the same choice to disregard the health and well-being of all others. It is one thing to recklessly, thoughtlessly, or childishly put your life at risk. I have done that. It is another to put the life of another or others at risk. I have done that also. You have the right to damage yourself. You have the right even to throw your life away. In other words, you have free will. You do not have the right to jeopardize the health of another. You do not have the right to take the life of another.

Flowing Down a Mountain

friends-skiing-snow-skiers-skiing-at-sunny-ski-resort-sunset-in-picture-id1089636072 Flowing Down a Mountain

My personal and most memorable experience of accessing a state of FLOW was entirely unplanned. It occurred while snow skiing, finding a single focus, through repetitive, harmonious movement, carving left to right, left to right, like a snake down a slope. No resistance. Moving in fear, to move past it. (Fear is after all just our ego (false-self) trying to protect us).

It was Valentine’s Day 2002, I was on a ski trip in the Alps with a boyfriend, but we were in no way having the romantic experience that information might conjure up.

We were staying in the same ski resort in Austria I’d honeymooned at in my early twenties (it was disastrous as honeymoons go and a catalyst for our divorce just 6 months later). But it was here, where I had fallen in love with skiing.

Just a few weeks before this trip, I had chosen to abort a pregnancy. While making this choice very consciously, I was still recovering both physically and emotionally. I was not in love. Our relationship was already over. I still harboured unreconciled feelings for someone else back in South Africa. And on this day, the 14th of February — being the birthday of my childhood sweetheart and soul mate who had died in a car accident at the age of 23, while drinking and driving — to say that I was a walking, breathing emotional volcano, showing tangible signs of erupting, would not be an over dramatisation. The seismic activity in my system was real.

Emotional Intelligence: Escaping the Matrix of Fear

Emotional Intelligence: Escaping the Matrix of Fear Emotional Intelligence: Escaping the Matrix of Fear

For many young people, the COVID virus outbreak will bring their first experience of fear and anxiety as a pervasive mood. As a society we are afraid of fear, and most of the time we can turn our backs on it. But this kind of denial is unworkable in a crisis. As bad news mounts daily and society becomes ever more anxious, countless people become enmeshed in the matrix of fear without knowing how to escape.

Social forces can drive you to participate in the matrix of fear, but society cannot get you out of it. Escape is something each person must confront on their own. I believe that freeing yourself from fear and anxiety is possible. More than that, you can learn how to be free of fear long after the COVID crisis has passed.

The key is to cultivate emotional intelligence. The term had a burst of attention some years ago, but the value of emotional intelligence never changes, and when you focus on it, you will achieve something worthwhile for life.  Here are six principles to guide you through the process.

Feeling Stuck? How to Get Unstuck and Move Forward

unstuck Feeling Stuck? How to Get Unstuck and Move Forward

When are you? As you experience yourself in this moment, are you really present in the now?

Of course, we’re all physically here right now, but most of us don’t often truly live in the present moment. Our minds have the incredible ability to draw us back into the past and propel us into the future, all while we go about our day-to-day lives. While it can sometimes be good to relive old memories and dream about our future, living in the past or future more than the present can also keep us stuck.

How many times have you found yourself in a repetitive cycle you just can’t seem to break? Or, what about getting caught up on a future outcome, while avoiding things you need to focus on now? We’ve all been there, myself included. So what do we do to come back to our present moment and get unstuck?

In my #1 bestselling book, The Map: Finding the Magic and Meaning in Your Life,  I teach you how to work with the map of your life. I lead you through a profound process to discover the inner landscapes you inhabit on your path—the unseen patterns, hidden motivations, and family legacies—and show you how to break free of whatever is holding you back from the super amazing and meaningful life that is your birthright. And, one of those things that can keep you stuck is time-wandering—living “somewhen” other than the present moment.
