Do you ever doubt your intuition? 

Learning to fine tune your inner guidance system takes time, awareness, and practice. As human beings, we have to learn to sort through our many emotions, our egos, and our thoughts and learn to discern what is true guidance from our intuition. 

You may have heard that your intuition is the same as your “gut feeling,” and while it’s true that your body is the instrument of intuition,  true intuitive guidance is so much MORE than just a gut feeling. 

Your intuition is kind of like a radio – tuned into a frequency I like to call “Soul Fm.” It allows you to pick up on the many signs, feelings, and factors that come together to give you guidance and direction from the Universe. It’s both deeper and wider than just the internal nudges you feel that guide you toward or away from something.

If you want to become more aware of your inner guidance system, you must first learn to relax your body as well as your mind. When your physical state is one of calmness, your mind will become still, and clarity will follow. You’re probably saying: “But John, how can I relax with all that’s going on in the world right now?” My best advice: Meditate!

I know, you’ve heard me say this before, but it’s worth repeating since meditation will help you feel calmer and more balanced during this pandemic.

So, here’s the deal. I want to challenge you to meditate every day, even if it’s for only 5 minutes. You’ll feel more capable of dealing with being stuck in your house and handling your anxiety. Plus, it will ultimately build your immune system and alleviate some of these tensions you’re holding inside your body. Once that stress is released, some associated minor ailments may disappear as well.
