Don’t Forget To Smile

Don’t Forget To Smile

Sometimes life gets hectic and things seem to pass by in a blur. Other times the weight of the things occurring may cause you to feel weary or down.

There are times life invites you to embrace uncomfortability, stretch your boundaries and reevaluate your limits. Sometimes in unpredictable, but pleasant new ways; other times in ways riddled with challenges.

It’s common to get lost in the day-to-day of surviving and lose sight of the big picture. You may find a great deal of internal resistance when trying to settle into the differences and changes taking place. It’s easy to get caught up in everything occurring outside of you while forgetting to tend to what’s going on inside.

When life gets overwhelming and you’re struggling just to stay afloat you may forget to do something as simple as smiling. Or, smiling may seem like a far-fetched, frivolous act only to be partaken of in more joyful times.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The challenging times in life are when a smile is most beneficial. It can be a game changer not only for you, but for someone else too.

Smiling can assist with lightening your mood and helping you feel better. It also has the health benefits of helping to relieve stress and relax you.

Life has challenges; that’s a fact of life for everyone. In the midst of the trying and rough times of life you can always find something to smile about. It doesn’t have to be something significant; smiling at even the most minute and trivial things can brighten your day or change your outlook – if only for a moment. That moment may be exactly what’s needed to keep you going or to make it through the experience you’re in.

Smiling is not an optional indulgence; it’s a necessity to maintain sanity while experiencing life. When you get caught up in the days, times, situations, experiences and circumstances in life don’t forget to smile.
